Oil Kings sign Peters

The Edmonton Oil Kings announced they have signed defenseman Ethan Peters to a Standard Player Agreement. The Moose Jaw, SK product was playing in his second season with the Moose Jaw Warriors U18 AAA team this fall before the season was paused. In six games Peters had registered five assists. The 17-year-old was not drafted to the WHL.

The Henderson Silver Knights announced the hiring of Lethbridge Hurricanes Assistant Coach Andrew Doty as Video Coach. Doty joined the Lethbridge Hurricanes in 2013-14 as a game night volunteer while he attended the University of Lethbridge. Doty then went on to track team statistics in 2014-15, which then led to being promoted to Assistant to the General Manager, with an emphasis on video coaching.
Kolusz signs with HK Dukla Michalovce
In an interview with Maciej Zubek, Marcin Kolusz confirmed his next club will be HK Dukla Michalovce in the Tipsort Liga. There he will reunite with former national team head coach Tomek Valtonen.

Marcin Kolusz (64GP, 6G, 12A with Vancouver ’03-’04) has signed with HK Dukla Michalovce of Slovakia’s top professional league. In nine games with Sport (Liiga), Kolusz had two assists. Most of Kolusz’s professional play has been in Poland where he is a three-time Polish champion. Kolusz was drafted in the fifth round, 157th overall by the NHL’s Minnesota Wild in 2003.
