Michael Stone (264GP, 52G, 129A with Calgary ’06-’10) has signed a one-year two-way contract with the Calgary Flames. Stone played in 33 games for the Flames in 2019-20, scoring twice and adding five assists. Was originally a third-round pick of the Phoenix Coyotes in 2008. Won a WHL Championship with the Hitmen in 2009-10.
Hurricanes take a look at their financial position

As reported by Dale Woodard of the Lethbridge Herald, the Lethbridge Hurricanes pretty much broke even in 2019-20 despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The team is budgeting for a loss in the 2020-21 season, as expected without any season to speak of as of yet.

Andrew Clark (254GP, 93G, 123A, with Brandon ’05-’09) has signed to play with Lausitzer Fuchse of DEL2 in Germany. Last season Clark played with SC Langenthal of the Swiss League, he had 16 goals and 30 assists in 44 games.
Fyten added to Nailers roster

Austin Fyten (193GP, 55G, 67A with Lethbridge and Vancouver ’07-’12) has been added to the Wheeling Nailers roster. Fyten has played in parts of four seasons in the ECHL with the Idaho Steelheads and South Carolina Stingrays. Last season, Fyten played for the Eispiraten Crimmitschau of the DEL2 in Germany, where he scored 19 goals and added 24 assists in 51 games.

Riley Woods (230GP, 75G, 105A with Regina and Spokane, ’15-’19) has signed with the Utah Grizzlies. Last season Woods split between the Toronto Marlies (8GP, 1G, 0A) and the Newfoundland Growlers (43GP, 13G, 24A).
