USA Hockey announced that, in conjunction with the NHL’s Dallas Stars, it will host the 2021 IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship in Frisco and Plano, Texas, from April 26-May 6, 2021.
The 10-nation tournament features the best men’s players in the world under the age of 18. This is just the third time the tournament has been hosted by the USA since it began in 1999.

Forward Liam Stewart (251GP, 57G, 75A with Spokane ’11-15) has signed with Raiders IHC of the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL). Five teams will compete in a short tournament consisting of seven weeks of competition behind closed doors. It is the first phase of the England Ice Hockey Association’s Return to Play. Last season with Milton Keynes Lightning of the NIHL, Stewart scored 37 goals and added 21 assists in 35 games.

Forward Giorgio Estephan (327GP, 131G, 194A with Lethbridge and Swift Current ’12-’18) has signed an AHL-ECHL two-way contract with the Stockton Heat. While with the Kansas City Mavericks, Estephan has scored six goals and added 14 assists in 19 games. Estephan is a sixth-round 2015 NHL Draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres.
