Forward Scott Cousins has been signed to a Standard Player Agreement with the Kelowna Rockets. Cousins is an undrafted prospect, passed over in the 2019 WHL Draft. Last season with the Caribou Cougars U16 AAA team, Cousins scored 28 times and added 29 assists in just 28 games.
Fleury assigned to Laval Rocket

Defenseman Cale Fleury (269GP, 32G, 95A with Kootenay and Regina ’14-’18) has been assigned to the Laval Rocket by the Montreal Canadiens. Fleury, a third-round 2017 NHL Draft pick by the Canadiens spent last season split between the Rocket (14GP, 2G, 3A) and the Canadiens (41GP, 1G, 0A).

Defenseman Jesse Zgraggen (258GP, 12G, 58A with Chilliwack/Victoria, Calgary and Regina ’10-’14) has been returne to EV Zug from HC Davos due to an injury. The loan period ended earlier than expected. While with HC Davos, Zgraggen scored one goal and added two assists in 13 games. With EV Zug, Zgraggen had one assist in 11 games. Zgraggen is a dual Canadian-Swizterland citizen.

Forward Braylon Shmyr (300GP, 111G, 129A with Brandon and Saskatoon ’12-18) has been released by the ECHL’s Allen Americans. It had been Shmyr’s second stint with the Americans, seeing action in three games before his release.
