Foote scores first professional goal

Forward Nolan Foote (195GP, 83G, 88A with Kelowna) scored his first professional goal in his first professional game. While skating for the Binghamton Devils, Foote scored late in the second period to tie the game with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at one goal apiece. Foote was originally a first-round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning but was traded to the Devils on February 17, 2020. The Denver, Colorado-born Foote has dual citizenship and won an IIHF World Junior Championship with Team Canada in 2020.

Krebs scores first professional goal

In just his second AHL game, Peyton Krebs (175GP, 49G, 139A with Kootenay/Winnipeg) has scored his first professional goal. The goal came late in the second period as the Henderson Silver Knights took a 4-2 lead in their game against the Ontario Reign. Krebs was a member of the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship squad that won silver, scoring three goals and adding five assists in seven games. Krebs is a 2019 first-round draft pick of the Vegas Golden Knights.

Woods loaned to Eagles

Forward Riley Woods (230GP, 75G, 105A with Regina and Spokane) has been loaned by the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) to the Colorado Eagles (AHL). In eight games with the Grizzlies, Woods has scored four goals and added seven assists. Woods also played two games in the Qu’Appelle Valley Hockey League (Saskatchewan) with the Balcarres Broncos, scoring twice and adding two assists.

LeBlanc passes away

DUBNetwork would like to wish its condolences to the family of Mike LeBlanc as well as to the Lethbridge Hurricanes organization. LeBlanc was a former PA Announcer for the Hurricanes.

Skinner loaned to Bakersfield

Goaltender Stuart Skinner (207GP, 104-72-15, 3.22GAA, .908sv% with Lethbridge and Swift Current ’13-18) has been loaned to the Bakersfield Condors by the Edmonton Oilers. Skinner appeared in one game with the Oilers this season, posting a 1-0-0 record, 5.03GAA, and .868 sv%. Last season Skinner played mostly for the Condors, appearing in 41 games with a 16-17-8 record to go with a 3.31 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage.
