Hughson (105GP with Spokane Chiefs 41-38-5-2, 3.07gaa .895sv%) has signed for a second year with Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak of the Erste Liga. Following three seasons at the University of Lethbridge, Hughson went to Europe to play in the Erste Liga. Last season he played in 36 games and had a 2.64 goals-against average and .936 save percentage.

Lammers (256GP, 93G 106A with Lethbridge, Everett) has terminated his contract with HC Innsbruck of the EBEL. He had played five seasons with the team and his ninth overall in the EBEL.

Rizzo is the only player from the first round of the 2016 WHL Bantam draft to not sign with the team that drafted him. The 15th overall selection had chosen the BCHL route and an NCAA commitment instead of skating in the CHL. He is also an unsigned seventh-round selection of the Carolina Hurricanes.

The signing of 2020 WHL Bantam Draft picks continued on Monday as the Blazers announced the signing of Luke Korte to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. Korte played last season with the West Van Academy Bantam Prep team of the CSSBHL. The forward registered 19 goals and 40 assists in 28 games and added two goals and two assists in two playoff games.

A 2001 CHL Import Draft pick by the Kootenay ICE, Plihal played in 139 WHL games scoring 67 times and added 96 assists. He was drafted in the fifth round by the San Jose Sharks in 2001 and did go on to play 89 NHL games over three seasons. 2020-21 will be his third season in the Czech3 league where he has scored 31 goals and 62 assists in 53 games.

Dalecky (123GP, 22G, 30A with Swift Current) has signed with DEAC of the Erste Liga following three seasons with the Herning Blue Fox of Metal Ligaen, the top tier of hockey in Denmark.
Alkhimov turns profession, signs with Avangard Omsk

With the Swift Current Broncos announcing his release on June 29th, Alkhimov had a chance to seek opportunity elsewhere. He has done so by signing with Avangard Omsk. He will suit up for Omskie Yastreby of the MHL (Russian Major Junior Hockey). With three WHL teams (Regina, Vancouver, Swift Current) Alkhimov scored 20 goals and added 24 assists in 128 games.
