Busygin signs with Wheat Kings

The 39th overall selection at the 2020 CHL Import Draft has signed with the Brandon Wheat Kings. Defenseman Yaroslav Busygin played last season with Russkie Vityazi Chekhov of the MHL. In 25 games he scored four times and added an assist in 25 games. He was also the captain of Vityaz Podolski U18 team, scoring four goals and adding seven assists in eight games.

Ferguson extended with Guildford Flames

Brett Ferguson (212GP, 43G, 81A with Red Deer) has signed an extension for his fourth year with the Guildford Flames of the EIHL. The EIHL is the top professional league in Great Britain. Last season Ferguson scored eight goals and added 29 assists in 46 games with the Flames.

Vause remains with Vienna Capitals

Taylor Vause (273GP, 79G, 111A with Swift Current) has signed with the Vienna Capitals of the IceHL.Following three seasons plying his trade in North American professional hockey, Vause moved overseas. After one season with HC Bolzano, Vause moved to Vienna and joined the capitals. 2020-21 will be his fifth season with the team. Last year he scored nine times and added 14 assists in 33 games.
