Lethbridge Hurricanes captain Jordy Bellerive was named WHL Player of the Week after recording seven points (4G, 3A) and a +6 rating in three games this past week. The North Vancouver native has helped lead the team to home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs and are currently on a six game win streak to keep pace with Edmonton for first place in the Central Division. The signed Pittsburgh Penguins prospect has 81 points (33G, 48A) in 66 games this season, this week marks the second straight Player of the Week to come out of Lethbridge with Jake Elmer taking the honour previously.

Prince Albert Raiders goaltender Ian Scott was named WHL Goaltender of the Week after stopping a combined 52 shots in three games for a 0.00 GAA and 1.000 save percentage in three games. All three appearances were against Swift Current with two 6-0 wins and an 8-0 win en route to the Raiders clinching the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy for the best team during the regular season. The Toronto Maple Leafs prospect owns a 37-7-1-2 record with a 1.82 GAA and .932 save percentage with eight shutouts this season.
Everett signs prospect
The Everett Silvertips signed listed defensive prospect Aidan Sutter to a WHL Standard Player Agreement on Monday. The 2002-born defenceman has been playing this season with the Thompson Blazers of the BCMML where he has 35 points (8G, 27A) in 33 games and has played eight BCHL games with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks as an affiliate player, collecting an assist.

The Calgary Hitmen reassigned top prospect Sean Tschigerl back to OHA Edmonton Prep of the CSSHL. The fourth overall pick in the 2018 bantam draft scored his first WHL goal on Saturday in a 7-4 loss to Lethbridge and has appeared in eight games with the Hitmen. He has 47 points (21G, 26A) in 28 games in midget this season.
