The Moose Jaw Warriors acquired 18-year-old goaltender Boston Bilous from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a fifth-round pick in this year’s bantam draft and a seventh-round pick in the 2021 bantam draft. He has played 32 games this year in Prince Albert, posting a 2.58 GAA, a 0.889 save percentage with a 15-9-4-1 record.

Winnipeg ICE prospect Conor Geekie has been diagnosed with mononucleosis which will force him to miss the Youth Olympics in Switzerland. Matthew Savoie is also awaiting medical clearance after being injured on a hit during an ICE game.

TSN and RDS have announced a new broadcast agreement with Hockey Canada which will run through 2033-34 and will see all of Hockey Canada’s events broadcast on the networks. For junior hockey fans, the most significant portion of this news is that TSN and RDS will remain the home of the World Junior Hockey Championships.

-Recalled top pick from the 2019 bantam draft Layton Feist. Defenseman Makai Mitchell is down to being out day-to-day.
Saskatoon Blades:
-Goalie Nolan Maier is listed as out two weeks with a lower-body injury. If he does not return, the Blades will have to recall either Ethan Chadwick or Austin Elliott (both 15 in hockey age) to support Koen MacInnes or go with an emergency backup Wednesday night when they host Red Deer.
Swift Current Broncos:
-Froward Braeden Lewis was recalled from the Southwest Cougars of the MMHL and overager D-Jay Jerome was claimed off waivers from the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Jerome is now one of five 1999-born players on the Bronco roster. Jerome joins forwards Hayden Ostir and Jaxan Kaluski, defenseman Jake Kustra and goalie Reece Klassen. Kustra is still listed as out week-to-week. They will have to get that overage number down to three soon. Also, forward Jordan Borysiuk who has played just one game with the Broncos since he was acquired from Red Deer on 11/7/19, went from day-to-day to out indefinitely. Forward Raphael Pelletier and defenseman Matthew Benson were listed as out day-to-day with upper boy injuries.
Victoria Royals:
-2000-born forwards Phillip Schultz and Carson Miller are out day-day with upper-body ailments and defenseman Nolan Jones is also day-to-day now with his lower-body injury. Jacob Herauf returned to the lineup.
Winnipeg ICE:
-Forward Michael Milne went from week-to-week to day-to-day with his upper-body injury.
