Evans and Kodak score first goals

Regina Pats defenceman Ryker Evans scored his first WHL goal in overtime to give the Pats the 3-2 victory over Red Deer. The 17-year-old from Calgary was originally drafted by the Pats in the 10th round (209th overall) in 2016 and has six points (1G, 5A) in 31 games in his first WHL season.

Kootenay ICE 2001-born forward Holden Kodak scored the first goal of his young WHL career in a 7-4 loss to Tri-City on Friday. The Cloverdale BC native was listed by the ICE in October 2017 after originally being drafted by Portland in the 11th round (229th overall) in 2016. Kodak has seven points (1G, 6A) in 38 games this season, he also skated in two games last season as an affiliate player going pointless.

JAD scores 100th

Spokane Chiefs co-captain Jaret Anderson-Dolan scored his 100th career WHL goal in an 8-3 win over Victoria. The Los Angeles Kings prospect has 20 points in 16 games this season and also represented Canada in this past World Juniors in Vancouver. The 19-year-old started the season in the NHL with the Kings, recording one assist in five games before being returned back to junior.

Giants captain skates in 300th

Vancouver Giants captain Jared Dmytriw appeared in his 300th WHL game in a 3-1 win over Kamloops. The 20-year-old from Craven, SK has split his career between Victoria, Red Deer and Vancouver recording 103 points (55G, 48A) in the meantime. Dmytriw has 27 points (11G, 16A) in 50 games this season.
