Pats release updated training camp rosters

The Regina Pats have updated their roster for training camp which kicks off on Thursday. Sebastian Streu (who is reported to have signed in Europe) and Koby Morrisseau (injuries) have been removed from the roster. All of the Pats 2018 WHL Bantam Draft picks are scheduled to be in attendance while all 2019 WHL Bantam Draft picks except for 2019 third-round pick Braxton Whitehead and 2019 seventh-round pick Riley Applegate are scheduled to be in attendance.

Warriors say Yeryomenko won’t suit up for team

The Moose Jaw Warriors released a statement on Sunday which says Vladislav Yeryomenko won’t suit up for the Warriors this season as he has received an offer to turn pro in Russia. A fifth-round pick of the NHL’s Nashville Predators, Yeryomenko was acquired by the Warriors in a blockbuster trade at this year’s WHL Bantam Draft which saw Jett Woo head to the Calgary Hitmen. As a result of Yeryomenko heading to Russia, the Warriors will be receiving a third-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft and now have an open import spot and two open overage spots. In 188 WHL games with Calgary, the defenseman had 26 goals and 73 assists.

Jacobs signs with Grizzlies

Colin Jacobs (252 GP, 69 G, 73 A with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Prince George Cougars) has signed with the ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies for the 2019-20 season. He split last season between the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder and Kalamazoo Wings and recorded two goals and 12 assists in 41 games.
