Warriors say Yeryomenko won’t suit up for team

The Moose Jaw Warriors released a statement on Sunday which says Vladislav Yeryomenko won’t suit up for the Warriors this season as he has received an offer to turn pro in Russia. A fifth-round pick of the NHL’s Nashville Predators, Yeryomenko was acquired by the Warriors in a blockbuster trade at this year’s WHL Bantam Draft which saw Jett Woo head to the Calgary Hitmen. As a result of Yeryomenko heading to Russia, the Warriors will be receiving a third-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft and now have an open import spot and two open overage spots. In 188 WHL games with Calgary, the defenseman had 26 goals and 73 assists.
