Daily Dose of the Dub: Tracey suspended, Smith missing from Chiefs lineup and more

Tracey suspended for a check to the head

Moose Jaw Warriors forward Brayden Tracey has been suspended for an undetermined length of time for a check to the head against the Swift Current Broncos on November 16th.

Smith missing from Chiefs lineup

Spokane Chiefs defenseman Ty Smith did not play against the Everett Silvertips on Sunday night. It’s the third straight game he’s missed after not suiting up for the Chiefs against the Portland Winterhawks or the Tri-City Americans. Smith did suit up for both Team WHL games against Russia which meant he had to miss either the Portland or Tri-City game as the WHL does not allow players to play on four consecutive nights. The Chiefs have not disclosed a reason for Smith’s further absence.
