An earlier version of the Daily Dose included information regarding the Prince Albert Raiders and COVID-19 testing. This information was inaccurate, we apologize to the Prince Albert Raiders players and staff as well as ownership for publishing that inaccuracy.

Teams start to close down offices

The Lethbridge Hurricanes, Moose Jaw Warriors, Red Deer Rebels, and Regina Pats have all made the decision to shut down their team offices for the time being. The Warriors also joined the growing list of teams to send players home to await further news about the remainder of the season.

Kemp named WHL Player of the Week

Medicine Hat Tigers forward Brett Kemp has been named the WHL Player of the Week after potting three assists in one game this week.

Parik named WHL Goaltender of the Week

Spokane Chiefs goaltender Lukas Parik has been named the WHL Goaltender of the Week. Parik played in one game this week posting a 36-save shutout and even managing to score a goal.

Eberle becomes a parent of a new baby girl

To brighten things up a bit, former Regina Pats star Jordan Eberle recently became the father of a new baby girl. Congratulations to Jordan and family!
