Raiders release Clark from active roster
NEWS: The Raiders have re-assigned 2002-born defenceman Braydon Clark to the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL.

The Prince Albert Raiders have released 2002-born defenseman Braydon Clark from their active roster. He’s played a career 17 games with the Raiders, including 11 this year, but has yet to register his first WHL point. The Langley, BC native is expected to join the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL.

The Moose Jaw Warriors have recalled 2004-born forward Jagger Firkus from the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAA team in the AMHL. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft by the Warriors, Firkus has suited up for 14 games with the Bobcats this season and has four goals and nine assists.

Rhett Rhinehart missed both of Prince George’s games over the weekend against Kamloops and Vancouver respectively and returned to the lineup on Tuesday night against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

After receiving a release from his contract with the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs, Kris Versteeg (264 GP, 62 G, 105 A with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Kamloops Blazers, and Red Deer Rebels from 2002-2006) has signed with HK Nitra in Slovakia for the remainder of this season. This will give Kris the opportunity to finish his career alongside his younger brother and fellow Lethbridge Hurricanes alumnus Mitch Versteeg before the elder Versteeg retires at the end of this season.

Colby Robak (246 GP, 37 G, 106 A with the Brandon Wheat Kings from 2006-10) has signed with Schwenninger Wild Wings in Germany for the remainder of this season. A former second-round pick of the Florida Panthers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Robak spent last year with Sport Vaasa in Finland where he notched nine assists in 29 games.
