Daily Dose of the Dub: Raiders fall to 0-2 at Memorial Cup

Raiders lose 6-3 to QMJHL Champion Huskies 

The Prince Albert Raiders fell to 0-2 at the Memorial Cup on Monday evening with a 6-3 loss to the QMJHL champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. The Raiders kept it close for the majority of the game, even holding the lead at one point thanks to a goal from captain Brayden Pachal past the midway point of the first period. However, the Huskies scored three unanswered goals in the third period to secure the victory. Prince Albert returns to the ice on Tuesday to take on the OHL champion Guelph Storm. The Raiders will need a victory over Guelph to keep their Memorial Cup hopes alive.
