Prokop signs with Nashville

Luke Prokop (135GP, 5G, 30A with Calgary) has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators. Prokop was drafted in the third round by the Predators at the 2020 NHL Draft. In 2017, the Hitmen selected Prokop seventh overall at the WHL Bantam Draft. In 2019-20, Prokop had his best season statistically, scoring four goals and adding 19 assists over 59 games.

McGrew added to Allen Americans roster

The ECHL announced today that Jake McGrew (132GP, 55G, 45A with Spokane) has been added to the Allen Americans roster. McGrew is a 2017 sixth-round draft pick of the San Jose Sharks of which the Americans are an affiliate. The Americans open their season on December 12, 2020, in Tulsa to take on the Oilers.

World Junior hopefuls return to the ice

After spending 14 days in quarantine, the IIHF World Junior Championship hopefuls from Canada returned to the ice in Red Deer. The players were split into two teams and Team White defeated Team Red 6-4. Kirby Dach scored twice and added two assists, Bowen Byram scored and had an assist, Dylan Cozens had two assists and Taylor Gauthier made 15 saves.
