Noah Chadwick signed his WHL Education Contract with the Lethbridge Hurricanes after they selected him in the second round of the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft. Chadwick, who is the younger brother of Saskatoon Blades prospect Ethan Chadwick played 21 games with the Saskatoon Stallions Bantam AA in 2019-20 scoring nine goals and adding 33 assists. The Winnipeg ICE signed 2019 seventh-round pick Hayden Pakkala to his WHL Education Contract. Pakkala, who will be eligible to play for the ICE the next time they hit the rink, had 34 goals and 58 assists in 35 games for the Okotoks Oilers in the AMMHL.

Everett Silvertips goaltender Dustin Wolf has signed an entry-level contract with the NHL’s Calgary Flames. The 2001-born netminder was drafted by the Flames in the seventh round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He’ll be back with the Silvertips next season looking to build off his 34-10-2 record with a 1.88 GAA and .935 Save Percentage in 46 games in 2019-20.

Libor Zabransky (159 GP, 8 G, 41 A with the Kelowna Rockets, Saskatoon Blades, Moose Jaw Warriors, and Kamloops Blazers from 2017-20) has signed a one year contract with Brno in the Czech Republic. The 2000-born defenseman would’ve been eligible to return to Kamloops for his overage season in 2020-21 but instead will go play for his dad also named Libor who is the coach/owner of Brno.

The WHL announced on Friday that they will be rolling out the 2020 Awards on a daily basis starting with Top Scorer and Regular Season Champions awards on Monday and concluding with WHL Player of the Year Award on May 20th.
