Daily Dose of the Dub: ICE acquire Holloway, Anning says goodbye to Wheat Kings

ICE acquire NCAA-committed Holloway from Silvertips

Fresh off getting a commitment from first overall pick Matthew Savoie after he had committed to the University of Denver, the ICE will look to do the same with newly-acquired Dylan Holloway, who they acquired from the Everett Silvertips on Friday in exchange for a 2021 fifth-round pick, a conditional 2021 first-round pick and a conditional 2022 second-round pick. The conditions on the picks were not released, but it is safe to assume they are tied to whether Holloway, who is committed to the University of Wisconsin, signs and plays with the ICE.

Holloway is six-foot, 192-pound forward who hails from Calgary Alberta. He played last season with the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL putting up 40 goals and 48 assists in just 53 games and was named the AJHL’s most valuable player. He was selected by the Silvertips in the sixth round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
