As first mentioned in yesterday’s Daily Dose, the Lethbridge Hurricanes unveiled their plans for a place to play for the 2019 WHL Playoffs.
The Hurricanes announced they will be playing up to three first and second round playoff games at Nicholas Sheran Arena with the 2019 Men’s World Curling Championships being held at the ENMAX Centre. The 1176 seat arena is home to the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns hockey program, which is significantly less than the 5479 seat venue the Hurricanes usually play in. According to the team’s Facebook post, there will be a playoff package draw for season ticket holders and fans to decide who will be able to attend those games.
