Hitmen announce Player Choice and Rookie of the Year Award Winners

The Calgary Hitmen announced a pair of award winners over the weekend. The first award was the Player Choice Award and this year it was awarded to co-winners Dakota Krebs and Mark Kastelic, who recently signed with the Ottawa Senators.

The Hitmen’s Rookie of the Year Award winner was also announced over the weekend. This year the team awarded it to goaltender Brayden Peters who split the crease with Jack McNaughton in the 2019-20 season.

Hurricanes announce Top Scorer and Community Relations Awards winners

The Lethbridge Hurricanes also announced a pair of award winners over the weekend first naming Buffalo Sabres prospect Dylan Cozens this year’s top scorer with 85 points in 51 games.

The team also announced the Community Relations award winner, Dino Kambeitz who played his first season with the Hurricanes in 2019-20 after being acquired from the Victoria Royals last summer.
