Giants sign Chabot

The Vancouver Giants have signed 2002-born Kadyn Chabot from the AJHL’s Drayton Valley Thunder. Originally drafted by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the sixth-round in 2017, Chabot is expected to make his WHL debut this weekend.

Rockets call up Wightman as Foote, Feist scratched

Dylan Wightman has rejoined the Kelowna Rockets with Nolan Foote and Tyson Feist on the sidelines.

Winterhawks unveil third jerseys

The Portland Winterhawks unveiled a new third jersey that they will be wearing on March 7th and 8th against Victoria. The jerseys were designed by Adidas making the Winterhawks the only CHL team to have jerseys designed by the company.

Jets acquire Eakin

The Winnipeg Jets acquired forward Cody Eakin (238 GP, 118 G, 121 A with the Swift Current Broncos and Kootenay ICE from 2006-11) from the Vegas Golden Knights for a conditional fourth-round pick in 2021. In 578 games split between the Washington Capitals, Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights, Eakin has recorded 102 goals and 130 assists.

Lees signs with South Carolina

Jesse Lees (294 GP, 55 G, 107 A with the Kelowna Rockets and Prince Albert Raiders from 2010-16) has signed with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL after attending Mount Royal University.
