The Vancouver Giants have signed 2002-born Kadyn Chabot from the AJHL’s Drayton Valley Thunder. Originally drafted by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the sixth-round in 2017, Chabot is expected to make his WHL debut this weekend.

Jets acquire Eakin

The Winnipeg Jets acquired forward Cody Eakin (238 GP, 118 G, 121 A with the Swift Current Broncos and Kootenay ICE from 2006-11) from the Vegas Golden Knights for a conditional fourth-round pick in 2021. In 578 games split between the Washington Capitals, Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights, Eakin has recorded 102 goals and 130 assists.
