The Spokane Chiefs have signed 2003-born Blake Swetlikoff to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. The Regina native was the Chiefs’ third round selection (61st overall) in 2018 and had 29 points (10G, 19G) in 40 games with the Regina Pat Canadians Midget AAA this past season. He also had five points (2G, 3A) in six games with Team Saskatchewan at the 2019 Canada Winter Games.

Now time for the biggest WHL news of the night….(were kidding). With myself moving up with DUBNetwork to the Vancouver Giants Beat, I will be passing the torch for the Daily Dose coverage. We are looking for someone interested in taking over these duties to keep readers up-to-date in the WHL world. I will continue writing the Daily Dose until a replacement is found but I would like to say thank you to everyone that has read or subscribed to the Dose during my time with it. Stay tuned for my Giants coverage throughout the playoffs on DUBNetwork.ca. As shown in the above tweet, if you are interested in the Daily Dose opening, email to info@dubnetwork.ca.
