Otherwise it was a pretty quiet night of news around the WHL.
Three stars of the night:
- Nolan Maier (Saskatoon) – Stopped all 32 shots as the Blades blanked the Raiders 1-0, dealing them their first regulation loss of the season.
- Dustin Wolf (Everett) – Turned aside all 21 shots faces as the Silvertips shut out the Chiefs 2-0. Now sporting an eight-game winning streak.
- Egor Zamula (Calgary) – Scored two goals and added an assist in the Hitmen’s 6-3 win over Kamloops.
