Oil Kings Alexander released from the hospital

Edmonton Oil Kings defenseman Jacson Alexander has been released from the hospital after leaving Saturday’s game with an injury. He was hit into the boards in front of Edmonton’s bench by Calgary Hitmen defenseman Devan Klassen and left the game on a stretcher. There’s no word on when he might return to the lineup.

Cougars 50/50 goes unclaimed 

The winner of last night’s 50/50 at the Victoria Royals-Prince George Cougars game went unclaimed. If you attended the game and have ticket GG-40606 you have until December 2nd to get your ticket to the Cougars’ office. If the winner doesn’t make the December 2nd deadline, there will be a bonus 50/50 draw at a Cougars game on a later date.

Elmer joins Wolf Pack

Jake Elmer (204 GP, 64 G, 70 A with the Regina Pats, Kootenay ICE and Lethbridge Hurricanes from 2014-19) has joined the Hartford Wolf Pack from the ECHL’s Maine Mariners. A prospect of the New York Rangers, Elmer has played eight games with the Mariners and has four goals and two assists.
