Lethbridge Hurricanes 2004-born defenseman Logan McCutcheon scored his first WHL goal at 13:47 of the first period in last night’s 4-1 win over the Calgary Hitmen. The Hurricanes drafted McCutcheon in the third round of the 2019 WHL Draft. He was playing in his 23rd WHL contest.

Regina Pats 2005-born forward Tanner Howe scored his first WHL goal last night at 3:47 of the second period in the Pats’ 5-1 loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings. Howe was a fourth-round pick of the Pats at the 2020 WHL Draft. He was playing in his seventh WHL game.

Brandon Wheat Kings forward Lynden McCallum scored four power-play goals through the late second and early third periods of last night’s 5-1 win over the Regina Pats. McCallum’s four goals took just 2:58 seconds to score. He now leads the WHL in goals with 19.

With a record of 18-3-2-0, the Brandon Wheat Kings clinched their first division title since the 2015-16 season, the season they went on to with the WHL Championship.

With a record of 17-1-0-1, the Edmonton Oil Kings clinched the Central Division title with a 3-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers. It is their third division title in a row.
