The Vancouver Giants announced on Monday morning the signing of 2005-born centreman Ethan Semeniuk to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

The Giants selected him in the third round (56th overall) on April 22nd and the native of Fort St. John, BC is already the third signee (Leslie and Halaburda) for the Giants out of the 2020 draft that took place just a dozen days ago.

“Ethan is a very good skater, his speed and puck skills are excellent. He has a great work ethic and a very high compete level.” Giants Director of Scouting Daryl Anning said of Semeniuk following the draft.

Semeniuk can join the Giants full-time during the 2021-22 season.

Vancouver is now tied with Seattle for most 2020 picks signed in the WHL with three.
