Giants jerseys turn back the clock for ‘Legends Weekend’

In one of their feature weekends of the season, the Vancouver Giants will sport a 1946 limited edition White Spot jersey. The G-men will be out in style for two games they host, the Regina Pats on November 17th, and the Victoria Royals in a Sunday matinee on the 19th.

The Giants will roll out the red carpet in Langley, BC to host some of their best all-time players who are not playing in the NHL currently. Names like Mike Bossy, Guy Lafleur, Marcel Dionne, Dale Hawerchuk, and many other decorated former players will be in attendance.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the game-worn, autographed Vancouver White Spots commemorative jerseys via online auction. Proceeds from the auction will go towards Zajac Ranch for Children.

Lately the Giants have been turning back the clock to past season success that the new era Langley Events Centre team hasn’t seen. Holding at first place in the BC Division, the Giants are absolutely solid defensively with two all-star caliber goaltenders and a speed filled offense.
