Playoff History: Kelowna Rockets vs. Tri-City Americans

2015 Kelowna won 4-0 1st Round, 47 point advantage in the regular season for the Rockets. Kelowna won the first two games 6-0 and 3-0 on their way to a sweep. Tri-City did manage to take game 4 to overtime but Gage Quinney beat Eric Comrie with 1:28 to go in the first overtime period. Rockets went 16-3 on their way to a birth in the Memorial Cup. The team would go on to lose the final in overtime to the Oshawa Generals.

2014 Kelowna won 4-1 1st Round, 50 point advantage to Kelowna who won the Scotty Munro Trophy. The Americans stole a win at home in Game three but that was all the could muster. Kelowna won all three games at home, and once in Kennewick. Series winning goal scored by Marek Tvrdon 13:05 into the second period of game 5.

2010 Tri City won 4-1 2nd Round, Tri-City would have 21 more points in the regular season than the Rockets. Kelowna would win just once in the series, on the road in Kennewick. The Americans would win both games in Kelowna followed by a 4-3 home overtime win. Kruise Reddick scored his sixth goal of the playoffs 5:37 into extra time. Tri-City would go on to lose to Calgary in the WHL Final.

2009 Kelowna won 4-2 2nd Round, Tri-City finished just 3 points ahead of Kelowna. The Rockets would win games three through six to take the series in Kelowna. Curt Gogol would score his first of the playoffs 8:13 into period two and that would be the game winner in a 6-2 final game. The Rockets would go on to play in the Memorial Cup as the WHL representatives, losing to the Windsor Spitfires.

2004 Kelowna won 4-2 2nd Round (Kelowna Rockets would go on to win the Memorial Cup in Kelowna), 1996 Tri-City won 4-2 1st Round
