Matteo Gennaro led the team with 6 goals and 1 assist including earning his 1st career hat-trick, Mark Kastelic had a big week with 2 goals and 4 assists while Vladislav Yeryomenko had 1 goal and 4 assists.

Newly acquired Brett Kemp led the club with 4 assists in the 2 games, Colton Kehler had 3 goals, Ty Gerla and Conner McDonald each had 2 goals and 1 assist.

This Week – The Oil Kings will play 3 home games as they will host Victoria, Prince Albert and Moose Jaw.

Playoff Position – Tied with Saskatoon for the final Wild Card and have a game in hand. Calgary is 2 points back with 2 games in hand.

Last Week – 0-3-0-0, lost in Swift Current before dropping a doubleheader in Brandon. The ICE were 4-2-0-0 in the previous 6 games.

Vince Loschiavo only played in 2 games and led the team for the week with 2 goals and 1 assist, newly added Colton Kroeker had 1 goal and 2 assists and Troy Murray had 3 assists.

This Week – Will host Prince Albert and then will travel to Tri City and Spokane on the weekend.

Playoff Position – 12 points out of the final wild card spot and are 7 points ahead of the Raiders for the 1st overall pick in the next Bantam Draft.

Last Week – 2-0-1-1, beat Edmonton twice, lost in a shootout to Prince George and lost in overtime in Calgary. They are 6-2-1-1 in their last 10.

The Hurricanes scored 23 goals last week, Tyler Wong had 5 goals and 4 assists, newly added Alec Bear who had 3 goals all year in Vancouver scored 5 in 4 games with Lethbridge and Giorgio Estephan had 1 goal 5 assists.

This Week – 2 home games with Swift Current and Calgary visiting the windy city.

Playoff Position – 2nd Place in the Division, 6 behind the Tigers and 8 ahead of Red Deer. They have 3 games left against Medicine Hat including the last 2 games of the season.

Remaining Schedule – 13 home, 13 away.

 

Medicine Hatmh

Last Week – 1-1-0-0, lost to Prince George 4-3 and then beat the Broncos 7-3.

The Tigers scored 10 goals and Chad Butcher was a part of 60% of them with 3 goals and 3 assists, Zach Fischer had 2 goals and 2 assists and Steven Owre had 1 goal and 3 assists.

This Week – The Tigers are on the road this week with visits to Saskatoon, Regina and Brandon.

Friday’s game against the Pats should be the game of the week. The Pats have won the previous 2 meetings, both played in Medicine Hat, October 22 it was 8-5 and January 3rd the final was 6-2.

Playoff Position – 1st place in the Central Division.

Last Week – 2-1-0-1, wins against Prince George and Prince Albert, lost in Saskatoon and lost in a shootout in Swift Current.

Key players returned from the WJHC and had big contributions with Michael Spacek notching 3 goals 3 assists while Adam Musil chipped in 2 goals 3 assists. Evan Polei had a 5 point week including scoring 3 times.

This Week – The Rebels will visit Calgary and then will open a 5-game home stand against Prince Albert and Victoria.

Playoff Position – 3rd in the Division, 8 points behind Lethbridge, 7 ahead of Edmonton.

Remaining Schedule – 15 home, 12 away.
