Game Notes:

Dawson Weatherill looked phenomenal in net for the Chiefs, tracked the puck well and stayed square while not allowing any high quality rebounds to get out. He stopped all 22 of the Oil Kings shots in the game and was the backbone of the Chiefs success that night. Jaret Anderson-Dolan looked great, a real catalyst for the Chiefs offense and a key contributor on most of Spokane’s goals. Really found ways to utilize his speed and strength on the puck. The Oil King’s defense seemed to struggle a bit, tying up sticks in front, breaking up plays to the middle, containing on the rush, Bilous also struggled. Pavlenko’s comfortability with the WHL continues to improve however.
