Last Week – 1-2-0-0. A 3 game road trip started with an 8-2 loss in Kelowna, followed by a come from behind 4-3 overtime win in Vancouver and then headed to the island and dropped a 4-1 decision in Victoria. 7 of their last 15 games have gone to overtime and none have gone to a shootout. Goalie Kyle Dumba played 74 minutes on the weekend and gave up just 1 goal for a 0.81 goals-against-average and a .962 save percentage.
WHL Player of the Month Matteo Gennaro had 2 goals and 1 assist last week while Beck Malenstyn had 4 points with 1 goal and 3 assists.
This Week – Back to Calgary for a 3 game home stand with tough tests against Regina, Medicine Hat and Swift Current. Then will visit Edmonton for their 4th game in 5 nights.
Playoff Position – 1 point behind Saskatoon for the final Wild Card spot and have 1 game in hand. The Blades have to visit Calgary 2 more times this season.

Goalie Stuart Skinner gave up 2 goals against in his 2 starts with a .970 save percentage and earned his 2nd shutout of the season. Tyler Wong scored his 36th, 37 & 38th goals of the season, Egor Babenko (2 goals 2 assists), Brennan Menell (1 goal 3 assists), Giorgio Estephan (2 goals 2 assists) all had 4 point weeks.

Last Week – 1-1-1-0. After losing 3-2 in overtime to Lethbridge they traveled to Prince Albert and beat the Raiders 6-3 and then lost 4-2 in Saskatoon.
Michael Spacek once again was all over the scoresheet with 2 goals and 3 assists. Evan Polei scored his 23rd, 24th & 25th markers of the season.
This Week – Back home for 3 games with Lethbridge, Swift Current and Regina being entertained at the Enmax Centrium.
Playoff Position – 3rd in the Division, 7 points ahead of Calgary and 15 behind Lethbridge.
